Can you choose the greenest form of transport or add the least harmful items to your shopping trolley, race around the home to switch off all the energy wasters against the clock, or build the most sustainable town of the future?

The Decarboniser is a fun ‘machine’ that allows players to choose between four games, each one representing a different aspect of sustainability. It was developed with the Xplore! Science Discovery Centre and Wrexham County Council to engage kids with some of the challenges that the council’s Decarbonisation Plan aims to address and was designed and built by W19 Design, adding to the suite of other interactive exhibits already featured in Xplore!

Each game’s end screen provides helpful tips and an option to take a pledge, which can be shared on social media to tell all your friends how you will help in the fight to decarbonise our lives.
