Are you curious to experience how other animals see the world? As part of ZSL London Zoo‘s revamp of the Bug House, the Tiny Giants exhibition now has an interactive exhibit showcasing six examples of Minibeast Vision, from simple eye spots to compound lens eyes and seeing in different wavelengths. Invertebrates make up 97% of all known animals and they see the world quite differently to us.

Partnering with W19 Design to deliver this project during the coronavirus lockdown 2021, I developed the concept along with the zoo’s interpretation team and curators, and produced the content. Transition videos allow visitors to reveal the human-eye view of each animal’s vision after being immersed in the world as seen through the eyes of a medicinal leech, giant clam, butterfly, bee, jumping spider or mantis shrimp.
