Worked with W19 Design to develop and install interactive audio to a new innovative playground (opened 2018) at Hever Castle, UK, the childhood home of Henry VIII’s wife, Anne Boleyn. Various audio tracks – triggered by PIR sensors or on-demand buttons – add atmosphere and context to children’s play in this giant timber-framed fort (over 9m tall at its highest point!), bringing heritage to life through the voice of a guard calling men to arms, the sounds of crackling fire and parlour noises and Tudor music to encourage dancing through the halls.

Read a review of the project, designed by FRLA, on the World Landscape Architect website here.
