Feasibility study, initial interpretation strategy and support for Heritage Lottery funding application to expand the visitor facilities on the Cors Dyfi Reserve within the only UNESCO Biosphere in Wales. The reserve is managed by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust (MWT) and is home to the Dyfi Osprey Project. Having worked with MWT before on the design for the 360 Observatory and interpretation experience (when employed at WWT Consulting), it was a pleasure to assist with the future growth and sustainability of this wonderful wildlife site.

After battling the elements through the winter of 2019 to build the new Dyfi Wildlife Centre ready for opening in spring 2020, the global coronavirus pandemic somewhat got in the way and the opening had to be delayed to May 2021. The wait was worth it and it was a privilege to be there on a wet bank holiday to finally see the centre welcome its first visitors and congratulate the team on the success.
