Stop where you are. Take a deep breath. How does it feel?

Catch your Breath was a small exhibition showing research from the Life of Breath project run by Durham University and the University of Bristol, using art, poetry and patients’ own responses to challenge the notion that we all take breathing for granted. For many it does not come easily. The exhibition was supported by science communication events, podcasts and activities such as mindful yoga.

For this project, I supported the Life of Breath (Bristol) team with copy editing, proofreading, graphic design and production of the exhibition and installed it (with W19 Design, who designed the modular system to be portable) into Southmead Hospital (November 2019-January 2020), the Bristol Central Library (January – February 2020) and the Bristol Museum for the project’s closing event in February 2020.

The legacy online exhibition can still be viewed here.
