How are we harnessing nature to power our lives? As the UK celebrates the first 25 years of offshore wind, Windscape https://www.sheringhammuseum.co.uk/windscape/ at the Sheringham Museum (Norfolk, UK) provides opportunities to ‘Meet the wind’, find out about the ‘Gentle Giants’ that stand in our offshore waters and the ‘Tools of the trade’ involved in keeping the UK’s green energy supply flowing, as well as the huge range of career options available within the industry and how the local community benefits from the turbines on the horizon.

Working with the brilliant team at Impact-XM https://impact-xm.com/ and an industry-community stakeholder group, I developed the content plan for this small exhibition and saw the development and copywriting through to graphic design completion. Interactive exhibits were developed and built with Nick of W19 Design http://w19design.co.uk/ and we had a great few days on site supporting with the final installation.

Equinor, which operates Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon offshore windfarms, was pleased to announce the opening of the Windscape exhibition in May 2025: https://www.equinor.com/news/uk/new-wind-farm-interactive-exhibit-windscape-is-ready-to-welcome-visitors
